Cheryl Dixon-Hills

Cheryl Dixon-Hills joined the Image Initiative, Inc. “unofficially” in 2005 when she attended our first conference as a chaperone with Nottingham High School. At the time she was a guidance counselor and unbeknownst to us all she would become our “rock”. Cheryl was a counselor who was (and still is after having retired) valued and loved by her students. Her commitment to her students was unparalleled. She officially joined the organization in 2006 as the Director of the CHOICES program, served as the Sisters Empowering Sisters Conference Co-Chair and committee member and later transitioned to a Member of the Board of the Directors, as Board Secretary and is our current Vice President.

Not only is Cheryl committed to our young women, she is firmly committed to this organization. Her belief system and faith has seen the organization through many a challenging time. She is an integral part of the fabric of the Syracuse academic community and community at large and our organization and lives are richer for her participation, presence and perseverance.
Cheryl Dixon Hills is a champion for our women children and we stand taller, salute and applaud her commitment to the Image Initiative, Inc.

I don't think you ever stop giving. I really don't. I think it's an on-going process...It's being able to touch somebody's life.
