2011 SES®
Conference
The theme of the 7th Sisters Empowering Sisters Annual Conference was “S.O.S. – Saving Our Sisters”. It was our ‘globally local’ theme that focused on Haiti and the aftermath of the devastating 7.0 magnitude and the ways in which our young women could make a difference to help young women there. Our goal was to help our young women empower themselves while empowering their international sisters. A major highlight was participation from Haitian women who shared firsthand experiences and accounts of the country.
