2024 SES®
Conference
On March 15-16, 2024, The Image Initiative, Inc. returned to our traditional Women’s History Month timeframe and hosted our 19th Sisters Empowering Sisters Annual Conference! This year featured domestic violence survivor and advocate Kenashia “Shia” Douglas, Film composer, violinist and music education advocate “Ezinma”. More than 200 girls attended from the Syracuse City School District and neighboring schools.
The theme of the 19th Sisters Empowering Sisters Conference was “Sisters Empowering Sisters: Powerful. Undefeated. Royal. Perseverant. Limitless. Extraordinary”. Conference highlights included the return of the Homegirls from Homeboy Industries, Inc. for their 14th year and the iconic Grammy nominated MC and radio personality Monie Love!
